The project aims to respond to the growing challenges related to climate change and environmental degradation, as well as to strengthen youth engagement in sustainable development actions. From the perspective of youth work, our primary goal is to raise participants’ ecological awareness by providing them with solid knowledge about the most important environmental issues and the principles of sustainable development. Through workshops, lectures, and practical activities, young people will gain not only theoretical foundations but also an understanding of their role as conscious citizens who can make a real impact on protecting the planet. The second key objective is to actively involve youth in practical ecological actions such as tree planting, organizing educational campaigns, and creating community gardens. These initiatives will allow participants to develop social and organizational skills, teamwork abilities, and experience the satisfaction of making a tangible difference in their local environment. The third goal is to develop youth leadership competencies, enabling participants to initiate and lead their own ecological projects, motivate peers, and create lasting changes in their communities. The project also provides a space for international cooperation and experience exchange, allowing the building of networks and the development of innovative and effective solutions for environmental protection across different countries and cultures. From the youth work perspective, the project aims not only to educate but also to inspire and empower young people to become active, responsible, and aware leaders of sustainable development.
