The world is facing a serious environmental crisis, and youth have a key role in shaping a sustainable future. Climate change, pollution, and resource depletion continue to rise, yet many young people struggle to adopt greener habits. At the same time, digitization is transforming society and offers powerful tools to drive environmental change—if used effectively. However, many people lack the skills to connect these two areas, missing the opportunity to use technology for sustainability. This project aims to bridge that gap by equipping youth with digital tools and green skills to take meaningful action. We want to combine digital innovation with environmental responsibility so that participants can lead change, spread awareness, and contribute to a more sustainable and digitally connected world. We recognize that sustainability and digitalization are broad topics, so we worked closely with our partner organizations to identify key challenges. Through surveys with target groups, we found three main issues to focus on: 1) Lack of Awareness of Practical Sustainability in Daily Life Many people acknowledge the importance of sustainability but struggle to apply it in their daily routines. Simple actions like reducing waste, making responsible consumption choices, and integrating eco-friendly habits are often overlooked. We aim to provide practical knowledge and tools to help participants make sustainability a natural part of their lifestyle. 2) Limited Use of Digital Tools for Environmental Action Digitalization offers countless opportunities to promote sustainability, yet many youth do not know how to effectively use these tools. We will train participants to use digital platforms, create online campaigns, and engage more people in environmental advocacy. 3) Low Youth Engagement in Sustainability Advocacy Many young people feel disconnected from environmental advocacy efforts, believing that only policymakers or large organizations can drive change. Our project will empower participants to take an active role, in designing and implementing small-scale initiatives and social campaigns that will continue beyond the project. The project aims to empower youth from six countries by equipping them with green skills and digital tools to promote sustainability while fostering intercultural exchange and collaboration. Project Objectives 1.Increase awareness of practical sustainability Participants will learn simple yet impactful ways to integrate sustainability into their daily and professional lives. 2. Enhance digital literacy for environmental action The project will provide training on using digital tools (social media, gamification, and online platforms) to raise awareness and advocate for sustainability. 3. Encourage youth collaboration in sustainability advocacy Participants from different countries will work together to create solutions and share best practices for environmental action. 4. Foster cultural exchange and mutual understanding By bringing together youth from six countries, the project creates space for exchanging perspectives and learning from diverse backgrounds. 5. Promote active citizenship and youth engagement Participants will develop leadership skills to engage their communities in sustainability efforts beyond the project. 6. Increase knowledge about Erasmus+ and educational opportunities The project will introduce Erasmus+ and other programs, encouraging youth mobility, learning, and international cooperation. 7. Ensure long-term impact through follow-up actions The project includes social campaigns, digital content, and online follow-ups to ensure the sustainability of its outcomes.
