The aim of the project is to strengthen the competences of youth trainers at the Fab Lab of the Sądecki Subregion through exchange of experience with partners from Norway and Finland. We want our trainers to learn proven methods of engaging young people – especially girls and those from disadvantaged backgrounds – in STEM education and creative use of new technologies. In this way, the Fab Lab’s offer will from the very beginning meet European quality standards in youth work and support the development of young people’s digital, technical, social, and entrepreneurial competences. The project supports the European Youth Goals: Goal 4 Information and constructive dialogue, Goal 6 Gender equality, Goal 8 Quality learning, and Goal 9 Space and participation for all, through the development of youth workers’ competences, the use of inclusive methods in STEM, and the creation of the FabLab as an open educational space accessible to all young people.
