We see the implementation of this project as necessary because young people still have too little influence on local politics, especially in smaller towns that are struggling with an exodus of young people. In addition, we are concerned about growing Eurosceptic attitudes. We are supported by a group of young, socially active people who want to raise their level of involvement. Our main goal is to increase the participation of 32 young people aged 13-30, living in the Gorlice district, in the social and political life of their local government. We want to involve them in the development of youth policies. The specific objectives are: to support the dialogue between young people and local authorities in two local governments of Gorlice district, to raise the awareness of project participants on issues related to the European Union and its values, to promote European values among the inhabitants of local communities participating in the project.
