Our intention is that, after the project is completed, no one will be able to say they don’t know what the lives of deaf people are like – because they will show and tell their stories themselves. Project objectives: 1. To create a space where deaf youth can express themselves and their stories through photography and video. We want the world to see and feel their everyday reality – full of challenges, but also dreams and hopes. 2. To raise social awareness about the lives and issues of deaf people within the local community, where their voices are often ignored. 3. To establish a dialogue between deaf youth and decision-makers and business leaders. We want their demands for social and professional inclusion to be heard – not out of pity, but with respect and understanding. 4. To develop the artistic and social skills of participants, enabling them to express their thoughts and needs in a way that will be visible and appreciated by a wider audience.
