We want to implement this project because the young people we work with increasingly emphasise the need to develop critical thinking skills, recognise manipulation and fake news, and learn how to work in a group and give public speeches. Our goal is to create a space where young people, especially those aged 13-15, as well as those from smaller towns, with fewer opportunities or from Ukraine, will be able to develop their talents, exchange experiences and engage in activities for the benefit of local and European communities. The project combines a training camp, a series of workshops and a youth conference. In this way, young participants will gain knowledge, practical skills and a sense of influence, while at the same time showing adults – parents, teachers/educators/youth workers and decision-makers – how important non-formal education and supporting youth activity is.
