Objectives

The word "gender" refers to the socially constructed roles, behaviors, activities, and attributes that a given society considers appropriate for women and men. All citizens, regardless of their sex, gender identity, or gender expression, should be free to make choices and have equal opportunities to participate, lead, and work. Gender equality is a fundamental value of the European Union, an essential human right, and a structuring principle of the European Pillar of Social Rights. As a consortium, we aim to strengthen the role of young people as agents of change by raising their awareness of gender inequalities and promoting dialogue between different perspectives. The project will address gender inequality in multiple dimensions of life—economic, social, and family—integrating female and male voices. Our project priorities are aligned with the objectives of the Erasmus+ Program and this specific Key Action. Practically, we propose working with young people through participatory workshops, exchanges, creative activities, and non-formal education methodologies to develop skills and promote critical reflection. Main themes to be addressed: Impact of gender inequality on social peace and the economy. Intergenerational transmission of gender inequalities. Digital skills and awareness of different types of online violence, exploring ways to combat them. Inclusive communication, critical thinking, and intercultural dialogue among young people from different backgrounds. Development of innovation, creativity, team spirit, and shared decision-making. Promotion of European citizenship, understanding of diversity, and appreciation of cultures. Specific objectives of the project, in line with Erasmus+: Promote formal, non-formal, and informal learning mobility, strengthening inclusion, quality, and innovation in the youth sector. Foster the active participation of young people in society, encouraging cooperation and creativity between organizations and communities. Support dynamic training programs that address current and relevant challenges, such as gender equality, cybersecurity, and human rights. We believe that young people are the voices of the future. With this project, we want to contribute to sustainable change, empowering them to shape more just, inclusive, and supportive societies through open, multicultural, and participatory dialogue.
