Objectives

The project strengthens youth workers’ capacity to use arts as tools for inclusion, accessibility and youth participation. It addresses the lack of structured, practical ways to engage young people—especially those facing disability, economic barriers or cultural differences—through theatre, dance/movement and visual arts. Our objectives are to equip youth workers with practical methods to identify and overcome accessibility barriers - To empower youth workers with tools to identify and overcome accessibility barriers in art and culture. To develop innovative methodologies for inclusive artistic intervention through theatre, dance/movement, and visual arts. To increase the qualifications of youth workers and organisations, ensuring more inclusive and sustainable programmes. To promote values of inclusion, diversity and human rights, fostering respect, harmony, and acceptance of difference. To create and disseminate a handbook of good practices and a toolkit with accessible methodologies for youth organisations across Europe. What we produce and how it helps youth workers: Guide of Good Practices: a concise handbook with principles for inclusive arts-based youth work (e.g., UDL approach, safeguarding, ethical and accessible communication), planning templates (needs assessment, session plans, consent), evaluation tools (reflection prompts, Youthpass mapping) and case studies. It helps youth workers design safe, inclusive and effective programmes. Toolkit: 30 ready-to-use activities with step-by-step instructions, timing, materials, adaptations for different abilities, safety/ safeguarding notes, green tips, and digital/blended variants. It supports immediate implementation and replication in local settings. Both outputs will be open-access (with Easy-to-Read summaries and translations into at least three consortium languages) and disseminated via the project hub and European platforms, enabling youth workers across Europe to apply, adapt and scale inclusive arts in their daily practice.
