The project aims to strengthen youth work practice by equipping youth workers with the knowledge, skills, and tools to address the pressing issue of climate refugees. Its objectives are to raise awareness about the links between climate change, migration, and social justice; to provide youth workers with innovative non-formal education methods that can be applied in their daily work; and to foster intercultural cooperation among organisations working with young people with fewer opportunities. By creating and testing a Climate Refugees Awareness Toolkit, the project will support youth workers in tackling complex global challenges in ways that are practical, inclusive, and empowering for young people.
