The project aims to directly counter the growing influence of populist and extremist ideologies that exploit youth vulnerabilities and erode democratic values across Europe. From a youth work perspective, the central objective is to empower and equip youth workers and educators with specialized knowledge in the psychology of extremism and digital media literacy. This enables them to effectively address the root causes of radicalization by fostering critical thinking and resilience in young people. The ultimate goal is to strengthen social cohesion, prevent extremism in local communities, and promote the practice of inclusive, democratic values among youth.
