Objectives

The Artisans of Green Inclusion project is a follow-up of the youth exchange Let’s Handmade Green Inclusion. Although the final participants were eager to know youngsters from different cultures, the preparation for the mobility was more difficult than the group had envisioned. Some specific challenges and needs were encountered, which the group wants to address with this new mobility: 1. gender differences that limit participation - 2 girls from the Turkish group didn't receive permission from their parents to travel abroad, although they have been involved in the preparation of the activities; similar experiences were faced by the Romanian partner for identifying youngsters (girls) from small communities. 2. Green travel and economic barriers. Although green travel is an aim of international mobilities, its implementation differs from one part of Europe to another. General objective: increase youth participation by using traditional art to address topics like green challenges, social and economic limitations Specific objectives: O1: empower 30 youngsters and 3 group leaders from Romania, Turkey and North Macedonia to develop sustainable traditional art tools to increase youth participation O2: tackle polarisation in small communities from Europe and discriminatory attitudes through promoting inclusive ways of participation adapted to the specific situations and needs of local youngsters
