The project aims to promote an approach to digitalization that integrates media literacy and emotional literacy in a balanced way, with the goal of reducing phenomena such as cyberbullying and antisocial or discriminatory behaviors. The main idea is to bring topics like empathy and solidarity back to the forefront of youth discussions, encouraging the creation of pathways and spaces for awareness that help young people better understand the responsibilities associated with their online behavior. This aims to counteract the trend of irresponsibility often linked to the use of social media and digital platforms. Using non-formal education methods and peer-to-peer learning, we aim to create a safe and stimulating environment where young people who have experienced cyberbullying or discrimination can open up and engage in constructive dialogue with their peers. The goal of this dialogue is to identify effective solutions and strategies to recognize and prevent these phenomena and their potential escalations. The general purpose includes the following objectives: • Developing participants’ social skills and relational abilities. • Creating a supportive environment for young people to adopt prosocial activities and behaviors. • Increasing young people’s awareness and knowledge about cyberbullying and discrimination. • Establishing a space that supports non-formal learning and provides a safe environment where participants can freely express their opinions. • Facilitating constructive dialogue to identify solutions and strategies for preventing discrimination and social isolation. • Raising awareness among young people about responsible use of technology and social media to prevent harmful behaviors and digital addictions. • Building a network of participants that continues to grow over time, fostering the exchange of ideas and experiences. • Enhancing participants' empathy through simulation exercises and theatrical activities designed to broaden their emotional perspective and understanding. • Promoting positive changes in the participants’ communities by disseminating the topics and solutions explored during the project. • Supporting young people in their journey of self-determination and personal development. • Identifying and analyzing behaviors that contribute to bullying and cyberbullying, encouraging a better understanding of the consequences of one’s actions.
