Objectives

The Inspiring Green Minds project promotes environmental sustainability and youth empowerment across seven countries: Spain, Egypt, France, Czechia, Hungary, Moldova, and Romania. It highlights the links between environmental challenges (such as severe air pollution, wildfires, and droughts) and physical and mental health, while equipping youth with practical skills for sustainable living and eco-entrepreneurship. Despite strong interest, young people, particularly in rural areas, have limited access to environmental education and entrepreneurial opportunities. Project Objectives The project addresses these needs by empowering youth with knowledge and skills to tackle environmental challenges while supporting their well-being: 1 - Engage 35 participants in 9 days of workshops on sustainability, well-being, and entrepreneurship, with structured follow-up until 31.10.2026. 2 - Ensure inclusion of 28 young people with mild disabilities and fewer opportunities through a Buddy System, needs assessments, accessible activities, and post-project mentoring, enabling full participation during the 9-day program and 8-month project. 3 - Deliver practical training in digital sustainable entrepreneurship, helping participants manage digital sustainable businesses, with continued support until 31.10.2026. 4 - Strengthen cooperation among 7 international organizations through joint activities on sustainability and cultural diversity, fostering lasting partnerships over 8 months. 5 - Promote behavioral change, aiming for 80% of participants to adopt at least 3 eco-friendly habits by the end of the 9-day program, and 70% to remain active in sustainability initiatives six months later. 6 - By the end of the project, participants will integrate sustainable practices into their daily lives and have the skills to develop sustainable businesses within their communities.
