The project “BurnInStressOut: Resilience against Stress and Burnout” is all partner organisations’ answer to the growing levels of stress young adults face in their daily lives. The main goal is to equip participants with strategies to effectively cope with stress, prevent burnout, and cultivate resilience so they can remain active and positive members of their communities. All partners, from Italy, Spain, Poland, and Bulgaria have observed that many young people lack awareness of how to handle overwhelming demands or find sustainable ways to maintain their well-being. As a result, they often withdraw from social life and miss opportunities for personal growth and collective engagement. The team gathered insights from our organisations, and by using a needs-based approach, we identified shared concerns that we will address through this project. Through youth work methods, reflections, and recognition of the learning process, we seek to create a welcoming space where participants feel comfortable exchanging views and experiences in an intercultural setting. This environment will foster understanding of diverse perspectives on mental well-being and highlight the power of peer support. Ultimately, we hope they will return home as more resilient, engaged individuals, ready to inspire others to adopt healthy coping strategies and spread awareness on the importance of stress prevention and burnout reduction Our objectives with this project are: 1. To foster participants' knowledge about stress and burnout, as well as their understanding of personal physical, emotional, and behavioural signs. 2. To equip young people with effective, evidence-based coping mechanisms, such as breathing exercises, mindfulness, music and art therapy, journaling, physical exercises and self-reflection methods that can be applied in daily life. 3. To create a supportive, inclusive, and safe space that encourages participants to openly share their stressors, fostering mutual learning, and challenge the stigma surrounding mental health. 4. To create a ripple effect where participants, upon returning to their communities, share their insights and knowledge, benefiting other peers, families, and their local networks. 5. To empower disadvantaged young people with stress and burnout management tools and opportunities for learning and growth 6. To align with Erasmus+ priorities by supporting inclusion, promoting non-formal learning methodologies, and addressing mental health as a critical societal issue
