Objectives

The Youth4Wellbeing project aims to show how youth work can strengthen resilience, inclusion and empowerment among young people who face social and economic disadvantages. By bringing together 27 young people from Romania, Spain and Poland, the exchange will create a safe intercultural space where participants can grow personally, develop new competences and build solidarity across borders. The project has three main objectives: Youth leadership and employability – helping young people gain key competences such as teamwork, entrepreneurship and project design, so that they feel able to create change in their communities. Healthy lifestyles and wellbeing – promoting sport, nutrition and mental health through creative activities and reflection, giving participants tools to build resilience and positive daily routines. Inclusion and social cohesion – fostering dialogue, empathy and tolerance by working with young people from rural areas, minorities and disadvantaged backgrounds, and by creating spaces where diversity is valued as a strength. Through non-formal methods such as outdoor challenges, intercultural cooking, role plays, storytelling and design-thinking labs, participants will not only learn about wellbeing and active citizenship but also live these values together. In this way, Youth4Wellbeing highlights how youth work can act as a bridge between young people and society. The project equips participants to become healthier, more employable, and more engaged citizens—ready to inspire their peers and contribute to a more inclusive Europe.
