The aim of this project, titled “Be Eco – Keep It Simple!”, is to raise awareness among 30 young people about ecology, particularly rural ecology, and to inspire them to adopt a more eco-friendly lifestyle and a closer connection to nature. Participating organizations: Eco Challenge – Romania; En Root – France; BG World – Italy; Collective Intelligence – Cyprus; Aktive Kosmos – Spain. To achieve this goal over the 11-month duration of the project, we have set the following three objectives: 1. By the end of the project, all 30 participants will demonstrate an improved understanding of ecological concepts and rural sustainability, assessed through activities and tests conducted using non-formal education methods. 2. Over the 11 months, all 30 participants will acquire practical skills for a sustainable lifestyle, including recycling, creative recycling (upcycling), composting, resource conservation, gardening, and a key skill – critical thinking, measured through practical exercises and applied sessions. 3. Throughout the 11 months, participants will be motivated to adopt eco-friendly behaviors, actively engage in rural communities, and expand their knowledge of rural heritage and ecology, which will be assessed through their participation in community activities and dissemination projects.
