Objectives

The project “Standing Out In the Digital World” will address the field of digitalization and digital literacy. An important emphasis will also be put on the digital economy. We will present the young participants how the internet and new technologies have changed the forms of business. We will also guide them towards responsible behavior when using digital tools, artificial intelligence and social networks. The young participants will be encouraged to research and debate on the field of new virtual technologies. They will exchange their own opinions and suggestions. They will learn how to use and compare numerous digital tools and artificial intelligence, and how to deal with disinformation. We will talk about the impact of digitalization on our everyday and future life, which industries would benefit and which ones would change the most. We will also debate the challenges and needs that the digital transformation brings. We will compare the advantages and disadvantages of digitalization. We will also touch on the negative side and problems in this field, and warn about numerous potential abuses. We will also get to know certain opportunities and risks in the field of the digital economy. In designing the project, the partners took into consideration the ideas and needs of our young members who face insufficient digital education. We have added our knowledge, experience and efforts in the field of the chosen topic. We were also careful to connect the project idea with some current strategies and goals of the European Union. Shaping the future and the transition to the digital economy is one of its key goals. The project will be in line with both, the 2019-2027 EU Youth Strategy, as well as the Erasmus + program’s one, which focuses on the engagement, networking and empowerment of youth. It will also offer cooperation, inclusion and creativity between partner organizations. It will also be linked to the 2021-2027 EU's Digital Education Action Plan, which supports high-quality, inclusive and connected digital education and training among its member states, as a preparation for the digital age, and especially to its second priority, which is improving digital skills and competences. The project will develop all competences according to Youthpass. The focus will certainly be on the development of the digital and technological competences of the young participants. We will also help them further develop their personal, learning and social competences, as well as the competences on multilingualism, cultural awareness and expression.
