The main goal of the project is to empower young people to develop and enhance their skills in digital emotional expression, thereby supporting their mental wellbeing, self-awareness, and interpersonal communication. The project will provide young people with opportunities to learn through non-formal education and practical workshops how to use digital tools in a positive and creative way to express their emotions and manage stress or negative emotional states. The specific objectives of the project from the perspective of youth work are: - Development of youth competences: Increase young people’s ability to recognize and express their emotions using digital tools and improve their social, communication, and emotional skills. - Promoting mental wellbeing: Through project activities, young people will learn to cope better with stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges, contributing to their overall personal development. - Building confidence and a sense of belonging: By participating in an international project, young people will enhance their social competences, teamwork, and sense of active citizenship. - Learning and using digital tools for positive purposes: Young people will gain practical knowledge about using digital platforms to create content that supports personal expression, reflection, and sharing of experiences. - Multiplicative effect in local communities: Young people will share the produced guide on digital emotional expression skills with peers, schools, and local organizations, creating a lasting impact beyond the project’s duration. The project is designed to actively involve young people in co-creating content and activities, which is a core principle of youth work, ensuring that activities are relevant, motivating, and directly linked to young people’s experiences and needs.
