The project EntreAct responds to the challenges faced by young people in uncertain career paths, unstable labour markets, and difficult transitions into adulthood. Many young people, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, are unemployed, underpaid, or socially excluded, and they face high risks of becoming NEETs. They need resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills in order to reorient themselves, explore entrepreneurial opportunities, and actively participate in society. To empower disadvantaged young people by equipping them with resilience in finding new career or business orientations, alongside adaptability and problem-solving competences, through innovative coaching and improvisation methods, delivered with the guidance and support of trained youth workers and teachers. Specific objectives - Strengthen resilience of disadvantaged youth: Enable 35 young participants from six countries to better cope with uncertainty in their professional and personal lives, including unemployment, social exclusion, or career reorientation, with the structured support of youth workers and teachers. - Support entrepreneurial and business potential: Use coaching methods facilitated by youth workers to help participants reflect on possible business ideas, pivots, or redefinitions of their career direction. - Address the NEET challenge: Train youth workers and teachers to engage directly with young people at risk of social exclusion and to transfer resilience and adaptability competences in a practical way. - Build competences through improvisation: Apply improv techniques that foster flexibility, collaboration, and creative risk-taking among young people, guided by youth workers and teachers. - Develop the Resilient Transitions Toolkit: Produce a resource with at least 20 tested exercises, enabling both youth workers and young people to use the methods and transfer them further. - Create a multiplier effect: Ensure that participants and their supporting youth workers organise local workshops, reaching over 200 other young people with fewer opportunities, including unemployed youth, rural youth, and minorities. - Foster social inclusion: Demonstrate that youth work and education, when focused on resilience, can serve as a pathway to reintegration and empowerment for those at the margins of society. Youth work and education are not only about providing workshops or leisure activities. For many young people, they are also about survival in a changing economic landscape and about building the resilience needed to overcome barriers such as unemployment, migration, or early school leaving. This project positions young people as the main beneficiaries, while youth workers and teachers are the enablers of change. Young people strengthen their own competences in resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving, preparing them for career reorientation or entrepreneurial attempts. At the same time, youth workers and teachers gain tools to act as multipliers and mentors, ensuring that the impact is carried forward into organisations and communities, reaching even more disadvantaged youth. By achieving these objectives, the project will reduce the vulnerability of disadvantaged young people, increase their employability and entrepreneurial readiness
