By implementing this project, we want to provide young project implementers with a space where they can explore the significance of the National Liberation Movement of Slovenia (NOB) and, through various activities, share their findings with other young people and decision-makers. We want them to acquire skills in project management, event organization, working with young people, critical media literacy, and creating publications, while young participants who are not implementers gain awareness of this important historical period, tools with which they can evaluate the discourse on the NOB in schools and the media, and to recognize that the NOB embodies the fundamental values of the EU, which was built on anti-fascism. The objectives of our project are high-quality implementation of all our project activities, which will address the needs of our target groups. At a time when fascist ideologies are making a comeback and historical memory is fading, such a project is essential.
