Objectives

1. General Objectives from the Perspective of Youth Work Our project aims to achieve three main objectives in the field of youth work: • Digital Transformation and Competence Development: The project is directly linked to one of the key priorities of the Erasmus+ program, Digital Transformation. Our goal is to enhance the artificial intelligence (AI) literacy of participating young people, enabling them to become conscious and responsible actors in the digital world. By understanding the fundamental principles, ethical dimensions, and societal impacts of AI, young people will develop the ability to critically evaluate this technology. This will empower them to move beyond being mere digital consumers and become digital creators and thinkers. • Inclusion and Diversity: The project fully serves the Erasmus+ priority of Inclusion. Our activities aim to facilitate the participation of young people with fewer opportunities—those facing economic, social, or geographical obstacles • in international mobility. By bringing together young people from different cultural backgrounds, the project will reinforce values such as mutual understanding, reduction of prejudice, and tolerance through non-formal learning methods. In doing so, participants will feel part of an inclusive European identity. • Youth Participation and Ownership: All phases of the project (preparation, implementation, and follow-up) are designed to ensure the active involvement of young people. This approach will enable participants to see themselves as co-owners of the project and to develop a sense of responsibility. They will not only be recipients of knowledge but also active actors who facilitate workshops, organize local events, and contribute to the dissemination of project outcomes. 2. Concrete and Measurable Objectives The general aims outlined above are translated into the following concrete and measurable objectives: KNOWLEDGE • Enable participants to gain knowledge of the basic principles, potential, and risks of artificial intelligence technologies. • Raise awareness of digital citizenship, digital rights, data privacy, and online safety. • Provide concrete examples of how AI can contribute to Green Transformation and sustainability goals. SKILLS • Develop participants’ critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Strengthen their ability to collaborate and work effectively in a multinational and multicultural environment. • Equip them with the ability to present what they have learned and disseminate it within their local communities. • Improve their competence in using basic AI tools and digital platforms. ATTITUDES AND BEHAVIORS • Foster a responsible and ethical approach to artificial intelligence. • Encourage a proactive and entrepreneurial attitude toward developing technology-based solutions to societal challenges. • Promote an open-minded, tolerant, and inclusive perspective that questions prejudices toward different cultures. These objectives will be formally recognized through the Youthpass certificate at the end of the project, ensuring the long-term impact of the outcomes. In conclusion, The AI Bridge project aims not only to provide young people with knowledge but also to equip them with ethical values and critical thinking competencies, enabling them to become more conscious and responsible global citizens capable of navigating the digital world.
