Our project aims to strengthen young people’s environmental awareness, sustainable living skills, and social inclusion. It is designed not only as a short-term learning experience but also as a structure that fosters long-term individual and societal transformation. From the perspective of youth work, the project’s objectives focus on achieving lasting behavioral changes in young people while promoting environmental awareness and inclusion at a broader community level. The main goal of the project is to enhance environmental awareness among young people. Participants will gain sustainable living skills by experiencing practices such as permaculture, agroforestry, water management, and recycling on-site. This objective is based on the understanding that learning in youth work should not remain theoretical but should also be reinforced through practical, hands-on experiences. In this way, participants will become role models in their own communities, sharing what they have learned with families, peers, and local groups. The project pays special attention to including disadvantaged young people. Youth from rural areas, families with limited financial means, or those with fewer social opportunities will have the chance to express themselves and build self-confidence in an international environment. This approach represents a concrete example of inclusion in youth work. Participants will not only benefit from the project but will also actively contribute to shaping the process. Another important goal is to foster active citizenship. Participants will be involved in decision-making processes and will have the opportunity to implement their own ideas during the activities. Thus, they will become not only consumers of knowledge but also solution producers. This reflects the participatory learning methods that are central to youth work practice. Young people from different countries will experience cultural diversity and learn to cooperate toward shared goals. This process will strengthen intercultural learning, reduce prejudices, and create lasting friendships. It will also enhance solidarity among European youth and open doors for future collaborations. With the contribution of partners such as Mozaik Lab, participants will gain skills in measuring environmental data, analyzing results, and reporting them digitally. In doing so, they will strengthen their analytical thinking and digital competences. Combining 21st-century skills with environmental awareness provides a strong example of innovative learning in youth work. The project aims to go beyond short-term activities by fostering lifelong sustainable habits among participants. Practices such as reducing waste, saving energy, and using natural resources efficiently will be integrated into their daily lives. This will bring about permanent transformations at the individual level and help cultivate a culture of sustainability at the societal level. When participants return to their home countries, they are expected to share what they have learned within their communities and launch small-scale environmental projects. This approach will ensure effective peer-to-peer learning, with participants inspiring their peers in environmental and social inclusion issues. As a result, the project’s impact will not be limited to the participants but will reach wider audiences. Cooperation among the partner organizations is also expected to continue after the project ends. This will create opportunities for new environmental projects to be developed, ensuring the sustainability of the initiative. The outcomes and experiences of the project will inspire new initiatives both locally and internationally, generating a long-term cycle of learning and development. In conclusion, our project aims to raise environmental awareness, promote social inclusion and active citizenship, strengthen intercultural learning, develop scientific and digital skills, and foster lasting behavioral changes among young people. Through this project, participants will not only acquire knowledge but also become active actors of social transformation. The most important contribution of the project from a youth work perspective is to raise young people as environmentally conscious individuals who are also socially sensitive, inclusive, and active citizens. This holistic approach seeks to create lasting awareness among young people and contribute to environmental and social transformation at the community level.
