Objectives

Our primary goal is to elevate the quality of youth work practice by transforming how youth workers design, facilitate, and evaluate non-formal learning. We want to move beyond basic activities towards a more professional, structured, and impactful approach to youth development. From a practical perspective, our project has four key objectives: To Enhance NFE Facilitation Practice: We aim to equip youth workers with advanced facilitation skills, focusing on inclusive and participatory methods. In practice, this means shifting the role of a youth worker from a simple supervisor to a skilled facilitator who can create dynamic, learner-centered environments. They will learn how to design and lead activities that are engaging and accessible for all, particularly for challenging target groups like refugees, rural youth, and other young people with fewer opportunities. To Improve Strategic Project Design Practice: Our objective is to empower youth workers to think and act more strategically. This project will train them in the entire project design cycle, from conducting a needs analysis to writing a coherent Erasmus+ grant proposal. The practical outcome will be youth workers who can independently develop sustainable, well-structured projects that effectively address the needs of their communities, thus improving the overall quality and long-term vision of youth work. To Integrate Quality Evaluation and Recognition into Practice: We want to embed a culture of reflection and quality assurance into daily youth work. The objective is for youth workers to learn and apply practical monitoring tools and reflective practices, including the correct use of Youthpass. This will transform their practice by enabling them to not only deliver activities but also to measure their impact and formally validate the competences that young people gain, making the value of youth work more visible and demonstrable. To Foster a Collaborative and Sustainable Professional Practice: We aim to break the isolation that many youth workers face. By establishing peer-learning sessions and mentoring circles, our objective is to create a sustainable community of practice. This will ensure that youth workers have a long-term network for sharing challenges, co-creating solutions, and engaging in continuous professional development, making their practice more resilient and innovative.
