Objectives

Our Project's Objectives Given the susceptibility of our nation to earthquakes due to its location in an active seismic zone, our project aims to forge partnerships with diverse stakeholders to mitigate this persistent threat. Through collaboration with public institutions, local authorities, NGOs, and private enterprises, our mission is to educate and empower individuals to respond effectively to earthquakes, thereby mitigating their impact. We aspire to instill a culture of preparedness, accountability, and resilience among citizens, leaders, and professionals, thereby alleviating the societal and economic repercussions of seismic events. To realize our vision, our project is meticulously crafted to promote awareness and action on earthquake preparedness, encompassing both general and specific levels. We endeavor to furnish young individuals with the requisite knowledge and competencies to actively participate in volunteer endeavors and contribute to disaster management endeavors as informed and responsible members of society. General Objectives: - Enhance awareness regarding the causes, characteristics, and ramifications of earthquakes, alongside the significance of earthquake-resistant structures. - Conduct research to advance earthquake mitigation strategies and disseminate findings through educational initiatives and events. - Cultivate partnerships with local and international entities to develop training programs and resources for disaster preparedness. - Propagate public awareness and education on earthquake safety protocols to minimize casualties and damages. - Foster collaborations with institutions and organizations to enrich scientific discourse on natural disasters via conferences and presentations. - Formulate policies and tactics to fortify disaster education and emergency response endeavors. - Orchestrate conferences and educational symposiums to bolster ongoing research and development in disaster management. Specific Objectives: - Educate participants on earthquake terminology, risks, and preventive measures. - Offer guidance on appropriate protocols to adhere to before, during, and after an earthquake. - Provide training on disaster response protocols to participants. - Encourage participants to partake in volunteer activities and cultivate social responsibility skills. - Raise awareness of the Erasmus Plus program and its goals. Alignment with Erasmus Plus Objectives: - Ensure inclusivity and diversity by affording equal opportunities to all participants. - Promote awareness of environmental sustainability and climate change issues. - Support the digitalization of project activities and enhance participants' digital literacy. - Foster creative thinking and global consciousness among young individuals. - Encourage engagement in staff mobility programs to address pertinent project objectives.
