Objectives

The overarching goal of this Professional Development Activity is to proactively adapt youth work practice to the realities of the Digital Transformation era by making it more innovative, efficient, and, most critically, ethically sound and inclusive. We aim to move beyond simple digital literacy to true AI integration and mastery within the non-formal learning environment. Overall Aim The project aims to empower youth workers and educators from the Iğdır Provincial Directorate of National Education and IFA gGmbH to become AI Multipliers who can strategically integrate 40+ cutting-edge AI tools into their daily practice to enhance the quality and accessibility of educational and integration activities, thereby promoting digital inclusion and preventing algorithmic bias. Specific Objectives for Youth Work Practice The project's success will be measured by the achievement of the following specific, youth work-focused objectives: 1. Innovation and Digital Competency (Knowledge & Skills) Objective: To equip at least 15 youth workers with the practical skills to master 40+ distinct AI tools (Generative AI, productivity boosters, etc.) and advanced Prompt Engineering techniques within the 7-day training period. Youth Work Impact: This will directly transform the quality of local youth work by enabling participants to rapidly create high-quality, personalized learning materials and project proposals, freeing up professional time for direct engagement with youth. 2. Quality and Ethical Practice (Attitudes & Behavior) Objective: To jointly develop and approve a set of Ethical Guidelines for AI Use in Youth Work that explicitly addresses issues like data privacy and the prevention of algorithmic bias by the end of the project. Youth Work Impact: Leveraging IFA gGmbH's expertise, this ensures that the new digital practices are fundamentally safe and promote inclusion, especially for youth with fewer opportunities, thereby raising the ethical quality standard of all partner organizations' youth work. 3. Institutional Capacity and Sustainability Objective: To ensure the knowledge is multiplied by requiring participants to successfully implement their Cascade Training Action Plans, reaching at least 50 additional local educators/youth workers within six months post-mobility. Youth Work Impact: This guarantees the sustainability of the innovation by embedding the mastery of the 40+ AI tools into the institutional procedures (e.g., Iğdır MEB's professional development curriculum), transforming the organizational capacity rather than just individual skills. 4. Recognition of Non-Formal Learning Objective: To formally recognize 100% of the participants' acquired high-level digital and ethical competencies by successfully issuing the Youthpass certificate at the end of the activity. Youth Work Impact: This validates the professional value of non-formal learning and provides participants with a recognized European document that enhances their career prospects and their status as experts in their respective institutions.
