Project Objectives The main objective of the project is to strengthen the capacity of youth workers within the framework of Hybrid Intelligence and to develop innovative methods in this field. In line with this, the project is built on three main pillars: digitalisation, ethical awareness, and intercultural cooperation. 1. Digitalisation and the Use of Hybrid Intelligence The project aims to enhance youth workers’ digital competences by promoting the integration of artificial intelligence tools into youth work practices. Trainings and workshops will include AI-based simulations, problem-based learning methods, and hackathon-style group work. In this way, youth workers will not only acquire technical knowledge of digital tools but also gain hands-on experience in applying these tools effectively, creatively, and inclusively when working with young people. 2. Ethical Awareness and Human Rights Perspective Bringing hybrid intelligence into the youth field is not only a technical process but also requires critical ethical reflection. The project will provide a platform for participants to discuss the impact of AI on inclusivity, data security, privacy, and human rights. Through these discussions, youth workers will not only learn how to use the tools but also develop the ability to assess the wider social and ethical implications that such tools may generate. 3. Intercultural Cooperation and Civic Participation At the heart of the project lies the creation of an intercultural learning environment. Participants from Finland and Portugal will engage in discussions on hybrid intelligence through the lens of their own contexts, combining diverse perspectives to co-create common solutions. In this way, the project will not only strengthen individual competences but also contribute to fostering intercultural cooperation and solidarity in the European youth work sector. Tangible Output: Hybrid Intelligence Toolkit The concrete outcome of the project will be the Hybrid Intelligence Toolkit. This resource will systematically compile the knowledge, experiences, and practices generated throughout the activities, offering youth workers a practical guide. Even after the project ends, youth workers will be able to integrate innovative approaches into their work by using this toolkit. Expected Gains for Youth Workers *Through this project, youth workers will: *Gain the ability to design and apply digital tools tailored to young people’s needs, *Develop competences in applying ethics, critical thinking, and inclusivity, *Strengthen their capacity to collaborate and engage in joint learning within intercultural contexts, *Benefit from institutional development opportunities through the practical use of the Hybrid Intelligence Toolkit. In conclusion, the project aims not only to improve the individual competences of youth workers but also to permanently enhance the capacity of their organisations to deliver innovative, inclusive, and digitally oriented youth work. By doing so, it seeks to ensure long-term impact that extends well beyond the direct participants.
