By implementing our project, our primary objective is to ensure that youth workers gain knowledge and capacity in ocean literacy. Through job shadowing activities, participants will directly observe the activities carried out at the host organisation in Europe, learn innovative methods and good practices, and integrate them into their own organisations. This will enable participants to use more conscious, effective and creative approaches in their daily activities with young people. Participants will enrich their own youth work programmes by experiencing innovative learning and interaction methods. The knowledge and skills acquired by participants will be transferred to a wider audience of youth workers and young people through internal sharing and dissemination activities; this will increase the quality and effectiveness of youth work in Turkiye. Thirdly, the project will develop the capacity of youth workers for international cooperation and networking, thereby contributing to the long-term dissemination of European standard youth work practices in Turkiye. Ultimately, the project aims to support the professional development of youth workers in the field of ocean literacy while creating a sustainable, innovative and internationally connected impact in youth work practice.
