The main aim of this project is to equip youth workers with an international perspective and enable them to carry out higher-quality youth work by gaining such a perspective. Currently, the majority of youth workers implement their activities at the national level, drawing mostly on national resources. However, they face significant challenges in accessing international resources, benefiting from them, and approaching the field of youth work with a global outlook. Our project seeks to address this gap by helping youth workers learn how to access international knowledge and academic resources, enabling them to reach accurate and up-to-date information and thereby improve the quality of youth work. Instead of relying on hearsay knowledge or learning through traditional master-apprentice relationships, participants will become familiar with internationally recognized methods and approaches. During the seminar, youth workers from our organization and partner institutions will share their expertise, provide trainings, and contribute to a mutual learning process. In this way, participants will benefit not only from the experiences of their own organizations but also from those of international partners. The objectives of the project include improving the quality of youth work, facilitating youth workers’ access to international resources, guiding them towards academic knowledge, and raising awareness about international youth work practices. Through this, youth workers will be better equipped to implement stronger and more effective initiatives both in their own countries and at the international level.
