Objectives

The main objective of the PRO-YOUTH 4D project is to strengthen the professional capital of youth workers. Professional capital consists of human capital (knowledge, skills, competences), social capital (collaboration, networks, stakeholder relations), and decisional capital (critical thinking, leadership, sound decision-making). Development in these three dimensions will directly enhance the quality and effectiveness of youth work. Our project is designed to directly contribute to the four horizontal priorities emphasized in the 2021–2027 Erasmus+ Programme: Digital Transformation, Environmental Sustainability, Inclusion and Diversity, and Democratic Participation. Specific Objectives Strengthening the digital competences of youth workers: Enable youth workers to integrate artificial intelligence, digital tools, and online learning methods into youth work, making digitalization not only a technical area but also a quality-enhancing element in communication with young people and learning processes. Promoting a culture of inclusion and diversity: Develop practical methods that facilitate the involvement of young people from different socio-economic, cultural, and geographical backgrounds in youth work. Strengthen inclusive practices that ensure the participation of disadvantaged youth in decision-making processes and make youth work accessible. Raising environmental awareness and disseminating green practices among youth workers: Through study visits, workshops, and field practices, equip youth workers with concrete knowledge and skills on climate change, sustainability, and eco-friendly approaches. Ensure that they adopt environmentally friendly methods in their daily practices. Developing the capacity of youth workers to support young people’s participation in democratic life: Provide youth workers with tools and methods that encourage engagement in democratic processes. Expand practices that support young people’s active citizenship, media literacy, and critical thinking skills. Ensuring knowledge transfer and multiplier effect: Transfer experiences gained through international mobility to other youth workers via local activities in partner countries. Reach a broader national audience by creating online modules through the MoLSS IKGPRO Academy platform. Developing long-term institutional capacity: Make the professinal development of youth workers sustainable through a multi-sectoral cooperation model involving universities, public institutions, and NGOs. Build an ecosystem of collaboration that will serve as a foundation for future KA154 and KA2 projects. In Terms of Youth Work Practice With this project, youth workers will gain new methods, tools, and pedagogical approaches that they can directly apply in their daily work with young people. Through modules titled AI and Digitalization 101, Inclusion & Diversity 101, Green Youth Work 101, and Democratic Participation 101, participants will acquire practical knowledge and skills. Thanks to study visits and job shadowing, they will be able to adapt good practices to their own contexts. In conclusion, PRO-YOUTH 4D aims to improve the quality of youth work, strengthen the professional competences of youth workers, and concretely integrate the four horizontal priorities of Erasmus+ into everyday youth practice
