The aim of the project is to raise young people’s awareness on food waste and food banking, ensure their active participation in decision-making processes, and develop sustainable social solidarity models at the local level. In this context, the project seeks to strengthen young people’s knowledge, skills, and attitudes while enabling them to produce policy recommendations in cooperation with local authorities and civil society organizations. By including young people with fewer opportunities, equal participation will be ensured, and lasting dialogue mechanisms will be established between young people, municipalities, universities, and NGOs. Through a policy recommendation report, digital materials, and field practices, the sustainability of project results will be guaranteed. In line with these objectives, the project will enhance young people’s active citizenship competences and create models that generate tangible social benefits at the local level.
