Objectives

The project aims to increase young people’s participation in eco-friendly leisure activities (ecorecreation), strengthen their awareness of sustainability, and support their active citizenship. Its objectives are to identify the barriers to young people’s participation in ecological recreation, to facilitate the development of solutions through structured dialogue processes, and to produce concrete policy recommendations on environment and youth policies. Through regional workshops to be held in seven regions of Türkiye, a National Summit in Ankara and an international policy dialogue in Strasbourg, young people aged 18–29 will be directly involved in decision-making processes. The project will reach a wider audience through webinars and podcasts, strengthening its impact and sustainability. It will be carried out with the aim of developing young people's green skills, increasing their participation in decision-making mechanisms, and contributing to the development of youth policies.
