Objectives

Through this project, 40 young people (ages 14–19) will integrate History of Science with STEM to strengthen critical thinking, problem-solving, digital production, and science communication. Coordinated by Kartal Anadolu Imam Hatip High School with the Takiyyuddin Science Association and the Önder Imam Hatip Association, six hands-on workshops and a teacher guide are planned. Museum–library-based activities will be carried out with the Museum of the History of Science and Technology in Islam and the Süleymaniye Manuscripts Library, among others. Youth will design prototypes and develop at least two new mini-workshops; all outputs will be published in Turkish/English under an open license in a digital repository. Inclusion, environmental sustainability, and safe learning principles will be applied. To ensure visibility, a large-scale “History of Science × STEM Symposium” in Istanbul is planned.
