Objectives

The project aims to strengthen the quality, competence, and recognition of youth work practice in the field of music and social action by creating a structured space for professional development, peer learning, and strategic reflection among youth workers across Europe. From a youth work perspective, the project responds to the need for intentional, in-person professional development that allows practitioners to reflect on their daily work with young people, exchange inclusive pedagogical approaches, and strengthen their capacity to support participation, wellbeing, and social inclusion through collective music-making. The core objectives of the project are to: - Strengthen the competences of youth workers working in music and social action, particularly in inclusive pedagogy, youth engagement, and community-based practice - Support reflective and evidence-informed youth work by connecting practice, research, and lived experience - Foster peer learning and mutual support between organisations with different levels of experience and capacity -Reinforce Sistema Europe’s role as a learning and coordinating network that supports youth workers beyond local and national contexts Ultimately, the project seeks to empower youth workers to improve the quality and impact of their work with young people and to contribute to a more connected and competent European youth work ecosystem.
