BEFORE THE PROMPT aims to strengthen youth workers' capacity to support NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) and disadvantaged young people in navigating AI-driven digital environments. The project responds to the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence on young people's access to information, employment, and participation, yet youth workers often lack the confidence and practical tools to address AI literacy in accessible, inclusive ways. Our objectives are to create an inclusive learning space for 32 youth workers from seven European countries to exchange experiences related to AI literacy in youth work contexts; to provide accessible, non-technical understanding of AI and its ethical implications, including algorithmic bias, data protection, and misinformation; to strengthen competences in non-formal and creative methodologies such as Loesje creative writing and scenario-based learning; to co-create a practical toolkit of at least ten ready-to-use non-formal education workshops that connect AI literacy to everyday life, employability, and social inclusion; and to enhance organizational capacity through follow-up activities that integrate AI awareness into regular youth work practice, contributing to a more inclusive and future-oriented approach to digital transformation.
