The aim is to bring young people from across the EU together so that they can jointly develop and articulate their ideas, questions, and concerns on the topic of peace for the future of Europe. The participation of young people from different EU Member States fosters understanding of global challenges and enables the development of cross-border solutions that are discussed together with EU decision-makers. The results are documented in final reports and shared, among others, with the European Commission, MEPs, and national and local decision-makers. The project promotes youth participation, strengthens the EU’s diverse environment, and enriches discussions on peace, democracy, inclusive participation, EU awareness, and policy responses to technological and environmental challenges. This year’s EU-Future Talks build on proven formats, introduce new thematic focuses, and implement feedback from previous years.
