With Your Turn 2026, we aim to enable young people with fewer opportunities to access DiscoverEU and European mobility experiences in a safe, inclusive and empowering way. From a youth work perspective, the project focuses on reaching young people who are often excluded from international programmes due to financial, social, psychological or structural barriers. The main objective of the project is to strengthen young people’s self-confidence, autonomy and sense of self-efficacy by offering a low-threshold DiscoverEU travel experience in small groups, accompanied by experienced youth workers. Through active participation in planning, decision-making and daily organisation, participants are supported in taking responsibility for their own learning process. The project aims to foster openness, intercultural understanding and European solidarity by enabling direct encounters with different cultures and young people across Europe. By embedding non-formal learning into real-life travel situations, Your Turn 2026 supports the development of key competences relevant for personal development, active citizenship and social inclusion.
