The project “VIPSport without barriers” aims to promote social inclusion, equal participation and intercultural learning of young people with visual impairment (VIP) and sighted peers through inclusive and adapted sports activities. From a youth work perspective, the project uses sport as a practical and non-formal learning tool to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes related to disability, and foster cooperation among young people with different abilities. A further objective is to strengthen the capacity of VIEWS International (VI) and its partner organisations to design, test and implement inclusive sports methodologies by exchanging good practices and experiences at European level.
