Objectives

In the short term, this contact seminar aims to generate concrete, useful, and directly applicable outcomes for the youth professionals involved: • Erasmus+ project ideas led by Belgian-Moroccan pairs, developed during co-creation sessions and ready to be further developed or submitted in response to the next call for proposals. • Reusable educational tools for youth organizations: welcoming methods, participatory practices, facilitation materials, and transferable activity ideas. • Strengthening of professional skills through peer exchange, comparison of approaches, and exposure to new ways of working. • Strong human and professional connections that help break isolation, pool resources, and benefit from external perspectives on one's own context. • For many participants, this will also be a first international experience, helping them build confidence, envision future mobility projects, and feel more legitimate within the Erasmus+ framework. Beyond these immediate results, the project seeks a broader and longer-term impact: • Enhancing the quality of youth work by drawing inspiration from practices abroad, adapting them to local realities, and valuing local know-how. • Encouraging intercultural openness among youth professionals themselves, who are often less exposed to international experiences than the young people they support. • Creating the foundations for sustainable cooperation, based on trust, mutual understanding, and complementary approaches. • Initiating a Belgian-Moroccan youth workers network, capable of thriving beyond the project through regular exchanges, joint initiatives, and a shared platform for resources. This project thus acts as a catalyst for the internationalization of youth work, not driven by major institutions, but from the ground up—initiated by those who practice it daily.
