Objectives

This project is the culmination of a long-term educational journey conducted within our Youth House. It aims to transform European mobility into a lever of emancipation for young adults from socio-economic backgrounds in difficulty. The objectives of the project are presented as individual and group emancipation through cultural and historical decompartmentalization, caused by a trip to Central Europe; the learning of the citizen through collective intelligence and empowerment through responsibility, cooperation and shared decisions; and the mastery of digital technology and AI as a tool for equity, through experimentation in the organization of travel and its confrontation with real situations. At the level of youth work, this project will allow us to: - consolidate the transition from the status of 'young professional' to that of 'adult actor'. The group assumes full responsibility for the initiative (design, budget, logistics). - break the social and geographical isolation of young people from working-class neighborhoods. The discovery of the other and of Europe allows to decentralize the look on one’s own culture and to strengthen the sense of belonging to a common citizenship. - reduce the digital divide by integrating the use of digital tools and Artificial Intelligence no longer as hobbies, but as project facilitators and professional organization tools. The methodology is based on a bottom-up pedagogy: the project is co-constructed by and for the participants. By putting young people in complete control, we value their transversal skills and their ability to seize future opportunities (professional, educational or solidarity-based) offered by the Erasmus+ space. The final result of the project will be the development of a video depicting the "strong" moments of the journey, made and designed by the young people. "Reels" will be posted on the institution’s social networks throughout the trip, allowing them to share their experiences and evaluations. This work will then be distributed to other young people in our institution but also to close Youth Centers through meetings.
