In Youth Activist Playground, young people from YOUCA aim to introduce the theme of economic justice to other young people in a playful, educational, and peer-to-peer way, thereby raising awareness. Within YOUCA, young people develop their own actions that highlight care, solidarity, and the sharing economy as alternatives to the current economic system, in collaboration with strategic partners. To do so, they draw inspiration from international and Belgian good practices of youth organisations. They deepen their knowledge, gain a sense of agency for themselves and their communities, and find a safe space to connect with like-minded peers. In addition, the project fosters sustainable partnerships with other youth organisations, strengthening YOUCA’s position as a professional, youth-led organisation with a strong educational offer.
