Objectives

Our learners and experts to effectively apply and teach the principles of the zero-footprint tourism as well as proper waste management and composting skills and practical experience in developing sustainable hole year tourist services, their marketing and funding and to gain first hand experience in incorporating the care of habitats and wildlife in innovative tourist services. Our organization to spread zero-footprint tourism concept in local tourism branch and improve our eco-tourism program.

Background

The lack of interest towards the sustainable practices in the tourism in our region leads to the poor attendance of our educational program for eco tourism, as well as seasonal unemployment of many of our learners dew to the pollution and poor maintenance of the local landmarks and insufficient conditions for 4 seasons tourist services. Our neighboring Greece even sharing the same mountain with way less landmarks has developed successful and sustainable model, we want to adopt as well.
