The project is entirely focused on the needs of students to receive higher quality professional education, to develop professional skills and personal competencies and to be better prepared for life. The planned activities represent a small step towards achieving these goals, for which the school is working in a long-term perspective. The activities are also aimed at expanding the spectrum of international partnerships, as well as at updating the curriculum with examples from practice.
Obtaining a professional qualification that can guarantee employment is the only chance for young people from the Momchilgrad region to improve their social status and be of help to their families. Over 80% of the students at the "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" Vocational School of Vocational Education and Training come from socially disadvantaged families. Therefore, participation in international professional practice is an opportunity that is of such essential importance for our students.
