Objectives

The youth exchange ACT 4 Change: #NoBullying was inspired by the personal experiences of two young girls, Maria from Bulgaria and Kübra from Turkey, who transformed their painful encounters with cyberbullying into a call for positive action. Their story is not an exception, but rather a reflection of a much broader European reality: cyberbullying, online hate, and digital harassment are among the fastest-growing risks for young people today. They affect not only mental health and emotional well-being but also trust in peers, school engagement, and the ability to participate confidently in society. By implementing this exchange, we want to: Empower young people to understand and address cyberbullying as a shared European challenge. Build empathy, resilience, and social competences through non-formal learning methods. Strengthen youth organisations’ capacity to support young people facing online violence. Promote active citizenship by turning participants into multipliers who create positive change in their schools and communities. The overall aim of ACT 4 Change: #NoBullying is to empower young people from Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania, Poland, Italy, and Spain to understand, prevent, and respond to cyberbullying, discrimination, and online hate, by using participatory theatre and digital tools as creative methods for empathy, resilience, and positive online behavior. Project Objectives: 1. To Raise Awareness of Cyberbullying and Online Hate Across Europe – The exchange will provide a safe space where participants share experiences, stories, and national realities, while learning about the emotional and social consequences of online aggression. 2. To Build Empathy, Emotional Intelligence, and Critical Skills – Through participatory theatre methods and creative workshops, participants will step into the roles of victim, bully, and bystander, reflect on online behavior, and develop skills for empathy, resilience, and non-violent communication. 3. To Equip Young People with Tools for Safe and Responsible Online behaviour – By working with digital tools (video-making, memes, campaigns, interactive apps), participants will learn how to recognize, challenge, and counteract cyberbullying, and design peer-led awareness initiatives to bring back to their schools and communities. Through this exchange, we want to create a youth-led, supportive, and creative response to these challenges. Our ambition is not only to raise awareness of cyberbullying as a shared European issue but also to empower young people to transform their experiences into action. By working together in an intercultural setting, participants will discover that they are not alone in facing online violence, that their voices matter, and that they can actively shape safer digital environments.
