The project aims to strengthen youth participation in environmental and democratic processes by empowering young people to become active contributors in their local communities. Through non-formal education, practical local actions, and dialogue with decision-makers, the project supports young people in developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for meaningful participation. The main objective is to empower 20 young people from Slovenia and Cyprus to become active “Green Voices” who understand environmental challenges, democratic decision-making, and participatory processes, and who are able to initiate and implement local green actions. The project also aims to create concrete opportunities for youth participation through Youth Green Labs and Local Green Action Plans, enabling young people to co-create solutions to local environmental issues.
