Through this project, we would like to broaden our expertise in the digitalization of education and its organizational support, and to draw inspiration from colleagues abroad who have experience with similar forms of e-learning. Our goal is to offer our learners the opportunity to try these new technologies within our concept, so that they can better navigate an increasingly fast-changing world and feel like a full and valued part of their family, community, and society.
The Virtual University of the Third Age has operated in unchanged form since 2008. In the meantime, there has been significant progress in the field of digital education—not only for seniors. Therefore, through this project, we would like to expand our offer with new opportunities, approaches and e-learning methods, including improvements in the organizational support of studies, so that we can provide this unique form of university education for seniors to a wider group of senior learners.
