The project aims to strengthen the skills of selected active women/volunteers and community workers in non-formal adult education, volunteering, and sustainable community center management. We want to gain inspiration from participatory methods, community leadership, and systematic volunteer development in established centers in Denmark and the Netherlands, and apply the experiences to enhance the quality, impact, and long-term sustainability of our activities and center.
The project is focused on a selected group of women who provide non-formal adult education, volunteer support and sustainable activities at a rural community center. Job-shadowing in Denmark and the Netherlands will allow us to gain inspiration in participatory methods, community leadership and the systematic development of volunteering, while also supporting the center’s sustainability. The knowledge and experiences gained will be applied in our activities to strengthen the quality and impact.
