Objectives

We aim to modernise senior education at U3V UHK by systematically supporting wellbeing and learning motivation and strengthening self-confidence through work on internalised ageism. We will introduce and pilot intergenerational formats (World Café, reverse mentoring, City Walk) as reusable U3V modules. In parallel, we will set up standardised impact evaluation (pre/post measures) and ensure that proven methods are transferred into the curriculum and U3V’s internal quality system.

Background

U3V UHK must respond to the rapidly changing educational needs of older adults as well as to new inequalities that may reduce their participation. In practice, we encounter internalised ageism, which undermines their self-confidence and motivation. We want to strengthen intergenerational ties at the university and professionalise impact evaluation (pre/post measurement, curriculum). The mobility will enable the transfer of proven methods, team development, and international cooperation.
