The project aims to strengthen students’ professional stone sculpture competences through intensive hands-on practice, support teachers in integrating digital stone technologies into teaching, and ensure sustainable departmental development through structured knowledge transfer and mentoring during a period of staff transition.
We applied for this project to address limited access to traditional stone materials and professional stone-working environments in our Sculpture Department. Due to high costs and fragmented teaching conditions, students lack intensive hands-on experience with marble. The project responds to the need to strengthen practical training, modernise teaching through digital technologies and support long-term sustainability of material-based disciplines.
