The aim of the project is to offer young people aged 13–15 a safe and practically oriented space for international education, in which they can develop relationships with themselves, with others, and with the environment in which they live. The project responds to the need of adolescents to feel competence, meaning, and the ability to influence their surroundings, particularly among young people from rural areas and regions with limited access to international educational opportunities. From the perspective of youth work, the goal is to connect non-formal education, manual activities, and time spent in nature with international cooperation, so that learning takes place through personal experience. Environmental topics (nature, landscape, food) serve as a natural framework for cooperation, responsibility, and the development of relationships within the group. The project also supports the development of “lived” English, intercultural openness, and the mental well-being of young people. It opens up the understanding that even at a young age, participants can be active creators of change in their communities and that the world offers real opportunities for engagement.
