We want to strengthen the wellbeing, resilience and active participation of LGBTI+ young people and allies through a high-quality Youth Exchange that links personal wellbeing with sustainable civic engagement. From a youth work practice perspective, our objective is to provide a safer international learning environment where young people can practise concrete wellbeing tools, learn how to engage without burnout, and build confidence to participate in their communities in realistic and safe ways. We aim to improve participants’ competences in communication, cooperation and intercultural learning through non-formal, youth-led methods, and to strengthen their ability to plan and implement small local actions such as volunteering initiatives, micro-projects and responsible digital activities. We also aim to reduce isolation by building cross-border peer support and solidarity between young people from Czechia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Lithuania and Serbia. A further objective is to ensure learning is recognised and transferred into practice. Participants will be supported to reflect on and articulate their learning outcomes and to implement follow-up micro-actions in their home communities during a six-month follow-up period, spreading benefits to wider groups of young people beyond the mobility participants.
